The Vision

What would this life be like
If we would willingly fight the good fight
Willingly stand for truth and right
What would it be like

How would this present life be
If God's children like you and me
Would bravely stand for what we believe
How would it be

Imagine the world if we would
Witness and pray like we all should
Do all that we possibly could
Imagine if we would


Now you have your life's vision
Make it your goal till you reach heaven!
Seek God's will never sway
Purpose, faithful everyday!

Psalm 122:1

There is a place where I can go,

a place where I can hide;

From the vexation of this world.

A field of grace, where fears subside.


Free; unmerited; privilege; love,

a place of reconciliation.

To feel the peace, goodness, joy;

the presents of the God of Heaven.

A place where we can lay down

 

our battle shield and sword.

 

I was glad when they said unto me,

 

Let us go into the house of the Lord.

Sit and Read!

This week our church has been having choir school. It has been fun...but there is one thing that out "trainors" have stressed to us. Ecc. 9:10 "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might;" It is amazing how scripture can be helpful to any area of our lives from Proverbs 27:14 "He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him." to Psalm 51:1 "Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto thy multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions."

Find a place to sit and read,
God's preciouse Word so dear!
As you sit, be quit!
So His still small voice you may hear!

As you read each word and line,
Hide it in your heart!
So that its great and wonderous truths,
From you, shall ne'er depart!

My First Post EVER!!!!!!!!!

Some say life is a theater.
Or is it more like an arena?

Is it "the walk of life"?
Or "running our course"?

Is it a long journey?
Or is it "as a vapor"?

(Hint: consider the scriptures)

Either way it is life!
A life, that with Jesus in your hear, is full of happiness, joy, and peace unfathomable =)

But without Him it can be dark, dreary, and ever so lonely!

Someone once told me....
"Because it is life...and it is happening right now..........right NOW!

Have you ever though about that...just sat and thought...
"WOW! my life...time...space...it's all actually happening!!!"

Right now as I am typing this, the earth is rotating, making the sun "disappear"; and the moon is "rising up" to take its place in the night sky!
WOW!!!

And the same God who created the sun, moon, and stars, is the same God, the Lord of all, who made us in His likeness! AMAZING!!!
And even now our minds are working, our hearts are beating, our muscles are moving!!!!
And not the mention God is working in our lives! Working miracles!
